Clazien van der Schelling: Briefly about myself. My name is Clazien van der Schelling. I am Dutch. I am married to Theo and together we have three beautiful, sweet children. Their names are Judith, Kaleb and Jefta. Together with our family we live and work for the MAF in Papua. Many people think that my husband is a pilot or an aircraft technician. But he is not. He is an ICT specialist by profession and they are very much needed here. I like to read, spend time with God, write, take pictures, decorate my house, organize things, run and try out new recipes and not to forget: I like to crochet. I like to do these things in addition to my motherhood. This blog contains: Stories from a faraway land. Stories about motherhood. Stories about time with God. Stories about using your own gifts to encourage others and photo essays. With the aim that you are encouraged to use your own talents and gifts.
